Duo Dramatique

Violinist Dominika Dancewicz and pianist Donald Doucet have earned steadily growing recognition for their compelling, eclectic and thought-provoking programs that include significant classical music from every era, as well as excursions into jazz, Broadway and pop.

Since 2014 The Duo hosts regular recital series at the University of St.Thomas in Houston, where their concerts attract full house audiences and regularly earn the artists standing ovations and acclaim.

The Duo enjoys a growing number of out-of-town engagements in Texas, with performances in Huntsville, Dallas, Fort Worth, Boerne and Missouri City. In March of 2019 they have made their debut at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts in San Antonio, playing a special recital sponsored by Classical Music Institute, titled “Devotion & Resilience”. The recital was met with universal acclaim, and it was followed by a broadcast on San Antonio’s classical radio station.

They have been featured by Houston Public Media and Arts+Culture Texas.
