Klaudio Zoto

Klaudio Zoto was born in 2003 in Tirana, Albania where he currently resides.  At the young age of six, Klaudio decided he wanted to become a musician.  His biggest influences are his mother and sister who plays the violin and viola, respectively, and who introduced him to the musical world.  It was then that he fell in love with music and discovered his passion in the cello.  Klaudio likes to describe himself as an “explorer musician;” meaning he is in constant pursuit of new ideas that can enrich his music career and entertain his audience.

Klaudio’s Musical Journey

Klaudio is currently studying at the Academia Stauffer di Cremona under the guidance of Antonio Meneses, a world-renown cellist.  He has attended numerous masterclasses with other well-known cellists including David Geringas, Anssi Karttunen, Leonid Gorokhov, Yann Vaigot, and Miltiadis Cassaras.  His most influential projects during his musical journey were being part of the Ambassadorship for the Concertgebouworkest Young. There, he was an ambassador for classical music and this opportunity allowed him to meet other fellow musicians and fulfill his mission in creating and expressing diverse music.

Klaudio’s Goals and Accomplishments

In just a few short years of embarking on his musical journey, Klaudio has achieved great success.  He made his first concert debut in the Opera Theatre in Tirana at six years old.  Since then, he has won numerous awards and accolades such as the award for “Albanian Young Musicians.”  Klaudio’s 2020 goal is to play with as many renowned musicians as possible.  He does not let obstacles and fear of judgment deter him in his passion to spread the music.  Most of all, he remains confident, sincere and honest with his audience.
