Italian Composer and Cellist, Luigi Boccherini grew up in musical surroundings and became a cellist in the orchestra of the Vienna Court Opera at the age of 14. A prolific composer of symphonies, cello concertos, and chamber music, Boccherini was one of the most important transitional figures between the Baroque and Classical periods.
